Your Settle dashboard is the best place to start each day. From the top, you'll find your to-do list, three payment totals, and graphs of the cash going out. Watch the video above for a quick tour, or read on for each area. If you use Settle Working Capital, there's a separate video for that.
Your to-do list
The to-do list collects what needs your attention: approvals waiting on you, overdue bills, failed payments, and accounting sync problems. Click an item and you land on its list.
Your payment totals
Three totals sit below the to-do list: Unscheduled (bills not yet scheduled), Scheduled & Initiated (payments scheduled or in progress), and Completed (what's already paid). Click one to see those bills.
The Cash outflows graph
This graph shows payments by week: two weeks back, this week, and months ahead. Hover a bar to see what's in it, such as cash payments, pending approval, and estimated unscheduled bills. Click a bar to see that week's payments. The Unscheduled switch controls whether the graph also includes bills by their due date, even if they're not scheduled for payment yet. Payments sort by status on the Payments page, such as pending approval, on hold, or failed. See Understanding your Cash Outflows graph and Payments page.
AP aging and downloads
To the right, AP aging groups what you still owe on bills by how overdue it is, from current to over 90 days. Pick a vendor to see just theirs, or click a bar to open those bills. Both graphs have a download button in the top right corner that saves a CSV report. Learn more in AP aging cashflow chart.
The Add button
The Add button starts almost anything: a bill, a payment, a purchase order, an invoice, and more. Add Bill lets you drop in a file, import from your books, or email your bill inbox. Make Payment covers a bill, a PO deposit, paying without a bill, or recurring payments. See Adding and importing bills.
The sidebar
Everything else lives in the sidebar: Accounts Payable for bills and payments, Procurement for purchase orders, then Sales, More, and Settings.
Start each day here: your to-do list, what's going out, and Add for anything new.
