February 2026 Release Notes

Written by Aneesah Ahamed
Updated this week

Settle continues to improve how teams collaborate across Bills, Purchase Orders, inventory documents, and Working Capital. This month’s updates focus on clearer document relationships, stronger comment visibility, expanded financing flexibility, and streamlined workflows -- along with meaningful improvements to inventory management and onboarding experiences.

🚀 New Features

🔗 Linked Documents UI Refresh

Problem: Viewing connected documents (POs, Bills, Sales Orders, etc.) felt inconsistent across entity types.

Solution: The Linked Documents experience has been refreshed across Bills, Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, Goods Received Notes, Work Orders, and Inventory Transfers with a unified card design.

What’s New:
✔ Consistent look and feel across document relationships
✔ Easier navigation between connected financial and inventory records

Why it matters:

  • Improves clarity when tracing document flows

  • Makes related records easier to understand at a glance

  • Creates a more consistent experience across workflows

📦 Bulk Inventory Document Export

Problem: Downloading Purchase Orders, Inventory Transfers, and Work Orders individually was time-consuming.

Solution: Inventory documents can now be downloaded in bulk as a ZIP file directly.

What’s New:
✔ Bulk export of Purchase Orders, Inventory Transfers, and Work Orders
✔ ZIP file download for efficient retrieval

Why it matters:

  • Saves time when gathering historical records

  • Simplifies document management for audits and reviews

Note: This feature is only available through the Support/CS team. Please reach out to your representative if you need assistance downloading files in bulk.

💰 Purchase Order Discounts

Problem: Vendor discounts are common, but customers previously had to track them outside Settle and manually adjust totals to keep landed costs accurate -- creating extra work and room for error.

Solution: Full support for document-level discounts on Purchase Orders is now live.

What’s New:
✔ Apply fixed amount or percentage discounts to POs
✔ Discounts applied at the document level
✔ Fully reflected in landed cost calculations
✔ Each line item’s landed cost reflects the discount
✔ Updated PO PDFs clearly display applied discounts

Why it matters:

  • Improves landed cost accuracy

  • Reduces manual adjustments

  • Makes vendor discounts transparent and easier to manage

🚀 Streamlined Working Capital Onboarding

Problem: The Working Capital onboarding flow sometimes required steps that weren’t relevant to all partners and didn’t always capture funding intent upfront.

Solution: A new "Capital Need" step has been introduced, along with a streamlined flow that skips accounting connection for eligible partner referrals.

What’s New:
✔ “Capital Need” collection step during sign-up
✔ Faster onboarding for eligible partners
✔ Reduced friction in the capital application flow

Why it matters:

  • Captures funding intent earlier

  • Speeds up onboarding

✨ Improvements

💬 Comment Visibility Enhancements

Unread comments now trigger a visual highlight, and opening a document with unread comments automatically opens the audit trail drawer to the relevant conversation. Read-status syncing has also been improved for reliability.

Why it matters:
✔ Clear visual indicators for unread discussions
✔ Automatic focus on relevant threads
✔ More reliable comment tracking

💳 Expanded Deferral Access for Active Loans

Previously, businesses with a $0 credit limit could not request deferrals -- even if they had active loans.

Eligibility logic has been updated so that customers with outstanding loans can request deferrals regardless of current credit limit.

What’s New:
✔ Financing UI appears when outstanding loans exist
✔ Clear Working Capital breakdown (Available $0, Extended amount, Eligibility up to $0)
✔ “Finance Bills” button remains visible but disabled with explanatory tooltip
✔ Accurate utilization display when credit limit is $0

Why it matters:

  • Maintains access to repayment management tools

  • Provides flexibility during credit limit adjustments

  • Improves transparency in financing visibility

🧾 Enhanced PO Import from OCR

PO OCR processing now detects and fills matrix line items automatically.

Why it matters:
✔ Faster PO creation from uploaded documents
✔ Reduced manual data entry
✔ Improved efficiency in purchasing workflows

🛠 Bill & Catalog Improvements

Compare Bill Documents: Added a “Compare” button in Bill Details to review line item discrepancies between bills and linked orders.

Landed Cost Ranges: Catalog now displays full landed cost ranges at the product family level for improved visibility.

Transfer Pricing Coupons: Transfer prices reflect active coupons or discounts applied to the business.

Default Auto-Itemization: PO Auto-Itemization is now enabled by default for new customers, saving time on data entry.

🐞 Bug Fixes & Performance Updates

Accounting Sync: Fixed payment approvals not cancelling when bills were marked paid in accounting software and improved handling of deleted vendors during QBO sync.

Bill Editing: Resolved an issue where posting account changes weren’t saving.

Vendor Credits: Fixed a visibility issue for credits in “closed” status.

Vendor Invites: Custom invitation messages now correctly send.

Early Repayments: Fixed missing timeline events to ensure accurate repayment history tracking.

These updates continue to make Settle a more transparent, efficient, and collaborative platform for managing documents, inventory, payments, and Working Capital.
