Settle continues to refine how teams manage vendors, payments, working capital, and day-to-day operations. This month’s updates focus on smoother purchasing and billing workflows, more flexible vendor management, easier access to capital, and clearer navigation — along with usability improvements and UI polish across the platform.

🚀 New Features

📍 Flexible Vendor Addresses on Documents

Problem: Vendors often have multiple addresses, and using the wrong one on Purchase Orders or Work Orders caused confusion and manual rework.

Solution: You can now choose whether to use a vendor’s Business or Operations address on Purchase Orders and Work Orders. This can be set in the vendor profile or toggled directly on a Purchase Order.

What’s New:
✔ Select Business or Operations address per document
✔ Configure address preference at the vendor level
✔ Toggle address usage directly on Purchase Orders

Why it matters:
Ensures documents reflect the correct vendor address
Reduces vendor follow-ups and corrections
Adds flexibility without changing your core setup

💰 Working Capital Access & Enhancements

Problem: Accessing Working Capital and specifying funding needs required extra steps in the flow.

Solution: Working Capital is now more accessible directly from your dashboard and payment workflows, with the ability to specify your desired capital amount upfront.

What’s New:
✔ Faster access to Working Capital entry points
✔ Ability to define funding amount at the start
✔ Fewer steps to request capital

Why it matters:
Speeds up access to funding
Makes capital requests clearer and more intentional
Reduces friction in the funding workflow

🤝 Simplified Payer Onboarding

Problem: New payers faced unnecessary friction during initial onboarding.

Solution: A streamlined Get Started page now guides new payers through setup more intuitively.

What’s New:
✔ Guided onboarding experience for payers
✔ Clearer setup steps
✔ Reduced onboarding friction

Why it matters:
Faster onboarding for new payers
Less confusion during setup
Smoother first-time experience

📄 Create Bills from Purchase Orders

Problem: Creating bills required manually re-entering information from Purchase Orders, increasing the risk of errors.

Solution: You can now create a bill directly from an existing Purchase Order, automatically copying line items and key details.

What’s New:
✔ One-click bill creation from Purchase Orders
✔ Automatic line-item and detail copying
✔ Reduced manual entry

Why it matters:
Faster bill creation
Fewer data entry errors
A smoother accounts payable workflow

🗂️ Unified Catalog Item Creation

Problem: Adding catalog items required navigating multiple entry points depending on how items were created.

Solution: A new Add Items dialog consolidates manual entry, CSV uploads, and Shopify connections into one place. This also introduces self-serve catalog onboarding with a guided CSV template for bulk uploads.

What’s New:
✔ Single entry point for all catalog creation methods
✔ Guided CSV template matching required upload structure
✔ Prefilled sample items to aid formatting

Why it matters:
Faster, cleaner catalog setup
Reduced setup friction
