Settle keeps leveling up—cleaner interfaces, smarter costing tools, and powerful new workflows designed to support scale. This month’s release focuses on smoother setup, clearer costing, and more actionable visibility. Let’s dive in.


🚀 New Features

✨ Guided Activation is Here!

Problem: The old activation flow overwhelmed users with too many disconnected steps.


Solution: A brand-new Guided Activation Journey:

  • Streamlined onboarding checklist

  • Contextual prompts across the app

  • Role-specific flows with only what’s relevant

Why it matters:


✅ Shorter time-to-value
✅ Stronger user adoption


📈 Profitability on Sales Orders

Problem: Users couldn’t easily understand whether specific orders were profitable.


Solution: We now show real-time profitability insights directly on the Sales Order Details page—tailored to your costing method (WAC or Batch).

Why it matters:


✅ Greater transparency
✅ Informed decision-making
✅ Answers the question “Are we making money?”


📄 Show/Hide Additional Expenses on PDFs

Problem: Extra costs could only be included in landed costs—no flexibility.


Solution:

  • Add extra expenses with the "None" allocation type to exclude from landed costs

  • Choose to show or hide them on PDFs with a simple toggle


🎉 Sync Center Revamp – Phase 1

Problem: The Sync Center felt like a noisy warning dashboard.


Solution:

  • Catalog and GRNs now live in their own spaces

  • Tasks grouped by object type

  • “Review Catalog Items” opens a filtered Catalog view

Why it matters:


✅ Less cognitive load
✅ More focused troubleshooting
✅ Foundation for powerful new sync tools coming soon


💸 Order-to-Cash MVP is Live!

Problem: Manually created orders lacked a way to request payment.
Solution:

  • Generate invoices directly from orders

  • Invoices include wire instructions

  • QuickBooks users: invoices sync automatically to QBO

Available to: All plans
Requirements: Must have a receiving bank account added

⚙️ Costing Method Management (Self-Serve!)

Problem: Brands couldn’t view or change their costing method, creating confusion.


Solution:

  • Navigate to Settings → Procurement to view or update your costing method

  • Changes take effect the following month

  • A2X and Shopify Landed Cost users are fixed to WAC

  • Launch plan users will see an upgrade prompt


📦 Milestone Tracking & Multiple Shipments (All Accelerate & Elevate Plans)

  • Multiple shipments and PO/WO milestones now available to all Accelerate and Elevate users

  • Launch users are limited to a single shipment

  • Upsell message appears when attempting to add a second shipment or milestone

  • GRNs must now be tied to a shipment


🧩 Revenue Field Streamlined

Problem: Revenue questions slowed down onboarding.


Solution:

  • We’ve moved the revenue field to the “Business Details” page

  • You’ll now see it as a dropdown next to “What does your business do?”

Why it matters:

✅ Fewer steps
✅ Faster setup


✨ Additional Enhancements

  • New icons on ordering PDFs for easier tracking of additional expenses

  • Inventory levels in Sales Orders now reflect costing method more accurately

  • Cleaner Sync Center navigation for Launch users


🎨 Design & UX Improvements

  • Updated revenue field placement for better flow

  • Sync Center task layout now grouped by object for faster triage

  • Better display of profitability insights on Sales Orders


🐞 Bug Fixes & Performance Improvements

  • Fixed missing GRN filters in the new Sync Center

  • Resolved sync delays for additional expenses on PDFs

  • Improved rendering of profitability view on small screens

  • Fixed rare bug with costing method setting not saving

  • Optimized backend performance for order profitability calculations
