On occasion, you may need to request an extension or delay of repayment on certain working capital repayments. You can use the deferral process outlined below to request additional time to repay the loans.
Please note that only payments that are not yet past due can be requested for deferral.
Process of requesting deferral on payments
To request a deferral on a payment, follow these steps:
Open the deferral request form: Go to the financing widget on your Dashboard and click the three vertical dots.
Select the payment to request a deferral: Click on one or more payments and complete the form by filling in the required fields. In the Explanation field, you should note the reasons for the deferral. In the Deferral period, note the extension of time you're requesting. You can set the same deferral period for all selected payments or assign different periods to each one. Attach any relevant files by clicking the paper clip icon. Once complete, click "Proceed."
Note: if you do not see an upcoming payment listed here, it may be because it is already processing. In this case, a payment isn't eligible for a deferral.Review and Confirm. You’ll receive a deferral notice summarizing the total amount deferred as well as important information about your request. Click "Proceed" to continue.
Accept Terms and Submit. Review the Deferral Terms and Conditions document. Scroll to the bottom and click the "I accept" button. Your deferral request will be submitted to Settle's credit team for review.
Once the deferral is processed, you will receive an email notification confirming receipt of the request. Once the deferral has been processed, you will receive an email confirming the status (approved or denied) of your request.
