Our Shopify integration allows businesses to manage their Universal Catalog and see order data in Settle.

Set up the integration

  • You will be prompted to add the integration from your To Do List.

  • You can also choose to add it from the Integrations page directly at any point in time.

  • After clicking "Connect" in Settle, you will be redirected to your Shopify store to approve the connection. Once successfully connected, you'll be redirected back to Settle.

  • The Catalog sync is kicked off immediately upon successful connection.

Maintain the connection

  • Removing the connection will not remove historical data.

Integration overview

The Shopify integration is split up into two parts:

  • Catalog Management

  • Order and Fulfillment syncing

Catalog management

  • Settle is the best way to manage your Universal Catalog across all different platforms, including Shopify.

  • Where possible, you can push new SKUs or changes to SKUs made in Settle to your Shopify. Changes in your Shopify will also populate to Settle.

  • Depending on your Shopify integration configuration, this may be a one-way or a two-way sync.

Pushing SKUs to Shopify

Once the integration is set up and sync settings are configured,” Settle can update your Shopify with changes made in Settle:

  1. Navigate to the Catalog page.

  2. Find the SKU you want to be updated in Shopify.

  3. Click the three dots β†’ click the "Push updates" button

Categories from Shopify will be imported and shown on the Settle Catalog.

Order and fulfillment syncing

  • Orders and their fulfillment status are auto-ingested from Shopify. We will match order information to orders from other platforms but use multiple data sources to enrich the order information.

Parent/variants in Shopify

If your SKUs have a parent/variant relationship (for example, tracking sizes or flavors), please follow these steps:

  1. Add the Shopify Integration First: Ensure that the Shopify integration is set up before any other integrations.

  2. Empty Catalog: If your catalog is empty, the SKUs will import from Shopify along with their variants.

  3. Non-Empty Catalog: If your catalog already contains SKUs, you will need to manually create the SKU and add its variations. After that, merge the Shopify SKU with its variations into the manually created SKU.

Following these guidelines will help ensure a smooth integration process with Shopify and proper management of your SKUs.
