Once you've created a PO, you can now manage and edit various elements on the POs. The statuses and labels allow you to track various categories for each of your POs.

Update the purchase order status

Statuses help you organize your purchase orders in Settle. On the Purchase orders page, you can filter your view by statuses. Settle currently supports 4 statuses:

  • Open - A Purchase order that is waiting fulfillment

  • Closed - A Purchase order that has been fulfilled

  • Canceled - A Purchase order that will never be fulfilled

  • Archived - A Purchase order that is outdated-most likely you have uploaded an updated version to Settle

  1. To apply a status to a purchase order, open the purchase order and select a status from the dropdown.

  2. The status will now display on the PO row on the PO page.

Add a purchase order label

Labels allow you to track various attributes or categories by PO. You can use labels for multiple categories and then apply multiple labels to each PO. Examples could include PO stage, workflows, or milestones in your PO process.

  1. Click on 1 or more PO rows from your PO page. Click the Label button from the pop-up window.

  2. If you haven't created labels yet, you'll be able to add new labels with color-coding via the pop-up in the New Label field.

  5. You can also delete any labels when you're on the PO. Click the X next to any of the labels.
