2023 New Customer Activation Terms & Conditions

  1. ELIGIBILITY. Settle’s 2023 New Customer Activation Promotion (the “Promotion”) is open only to United States entities located in one (1) of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia at the time of participation. Employees, officers and directors of Settle Inc. (“Sponsor”, “us” or “we”), its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective immediate family members, are not eligible. All potential participants must qualify for and complete all steps for the Settle account creation (the “Account Setup”), as explained more fully below and in the Settle Platform. Those who do not qualify to complete the Account Setup are ineligible for participation in the Promotion. Additionally this Promotion is offered for a limited time only, and to be eligible for the Promotional Offer (as defined below), you must complete the Account Setup and make one bill pay transaction (the “Activation”) within forty-five (45) days after receiving the invite email from the Sponsor, and completion of Account Setup and Activation must occur on or before December 31, 2023. For avoidance of doubt, any Account Setup and/or Activation occurring after December 31, 2023 will cause the participant to be ineligible for participating in the Promotion.

  2. HOW TO PARTICIPATE. Click on the sign-up link in your (personal and non-transferable) email invitation from Sponsor, complete the full onboarding flow on the Sponsor’s platform (, complete your Account Setup including connecting at least one bank account and completing Know Your Customer (KYC) verification, and pay at least one bill using Sponsor’s Bill Pay service (Activation). By completing the Account Setup and the Activation, each participant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these “Terms & Conditions” and the decisions of Sponsor, Sponsor’s Terms of Service, E-Sign Consent, Privacy Policy, and other Settle policies, which will be final and binding in all respects.

  3. PARTICIPANT FEEDBACK. As part of the Promotion, participants may provide, or be requested to provide, certain comments, feedback, ideas, reports, suggestions, recommendations, questions, data or other information about Sponsor and/or its products, including without limitation, new features or functionality relating thereto (collectively, “Feedback”). Once you begin the steps described in section 2 above, all Feedback will become the sole and exclusive property of Sponsor. Each participant acknowledges and agrees that Sponsor is free to use such Feedback irrespective of any other obligation or limitation between the parties governing such Feedback. Feedback must reflect the participant’s own honest opinions and/or be based on personal experience. Sponsor is not required to use any Feedback to develop and enhance Sponsor’s current or future products and services. Sponsor has the right to disclose, publicly or to any of its partners, anonymized or aggregated information derived from Feedback. Participants shall have no right of compensation from, credit or attribution or approval over any use of the Feedback by Sponsor.

  4. PROMOTIONAL PRICE OFFER. Each eligible Promotion participant that completes the Account Setup and the Activation will be provided a Settle “Plus Plan” with a waived subscription fee of $0 for six (6) consecutive months (the “Promotional Offer”), commencing on the date Settle confirms your upgrade via email, and ending on the last day of the sixth month (the “Promotional Period”). Any and all applicable bill pay transaction fees will still apply during the Promotional Period, and you will be responsible for paying such transaction fees when they become due (these fees will not be refunded or reimbursed). After the Promotional Period has ended, if you have not canceled your account or chosen a different Settle subscription plan, Settle will charge you $249 per month to continue using your Plus Plan. Each Promotional Offer is non-transferable and participants may not claim a cash alternative. The Promotional Offer and this Promotion cannot be combined with any other offer or promotion. The Promotion Offer is limited to one (1) per customer (legal entity). Any attempt by any person to obtain an additional Promotional Offer by signing up more than one account for the same legal entity using multiple/different email accounts, or any other methods will result in disqualification. Each Plus Plan and Promotional Offer is provided “AS IS” and without warranty of any kind, express or implied (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose).

  5. RELEASE/DISPUTES/GOVERNING LAW. Each entrant agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its partners and affiliates from any injury, loss or damage due to participation in the Promotion or the acceptance or use/misuse of a Plus Plan account and Promotional Offer. New York law applies to any/all disputes and claims relating to the Promotion. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Terms & Conditions will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision.
