A set of key financial metrics every CPG brand should track. At Settle, we’ve seen these metrics make the difference between brands that grow and brands that struggle. Now, they’re available to all customers.
Income statement metrics: Total income, COGS, gross profit, net income
Balance sheet metrics: Total assets, total liabilities, total current assets, total current liabilities
Key financial metrics: Gross margin, cash conversion cycle, average cash on hand, cash runway, quick ratio, current ratio, Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO), trailing twelve months contribution margin, gross product margin, net product margin, days on hand, and inventory turnover
Sales analysis
Track your top-selling SKUs directly in Settle. Identify your best sellers and double down on them. More sales and inventory charts will be added over time.

How to access Settle insights
From the left navigation menu, go to Docs and Reports.
At the top, click the Settle Insights tab.
To view sales insights directly:
Go to Sales Orders.
In the top right corner, click the Insights button.
Please note that Settle insights is currently available only to admin users.
Downloadable reports
We’re enabling downloadable reports within Insights, so you can export the data just as you do today.
